The ST-Link/v2
is an in-circuit debugger and programmer designed for microcontroller families STM8
and STM32. Communication with the microcontroller is achieved through
the SWIM (Single Wire Interface Module) interface and JTAG/SWD
(Serial Wire Debugging). It is widely used in the design and development of
embedded systems.
STM8 applications: Use the USB interface to
communicate with the software STVD (ST Visual Develop) or STVP
(ST Visual Program).
STM32 applications: Use the USB interface to
connect with integrated development environments such as:
Atollic
IAR
KEIL
TASKS
