MQ-135
The MQ-135 is a gas sensor designed to detect various harmful gases in the air. It is commonly used for indoor air quality monitoring because it can sense gases like ammonia (NH₃), sulfur (S), benzene (C₆H₆), smoke, CO₂, and other harmful gases.
Key Features:
Detectable Gases: Ammonia (NH₃), nitrogen oxides (NOx), alcohol, benzene, smoke, CO₂, and other harmful gases.
Detection Range: 10 – 1000 ppm (varies for different gases)
Operating Voltage: 5V DC
Output: Analog and digital (on some boards with a comparator)
Preheat Time: 20-30 seconds for stabilization
SPECIFICATION:
Operating Voltage: 2.5V to 5.0V
Power consumption: 150mA
Detect/Measure: NH3, Nox, CO2, Alcohol, Benzene, Smoke
Typical operating Voltage: 5V
Digital Output: 0V to 5V (TTL Logic ) @ 5V Vcc
Analog Output: 0-5V @ 5V Vcc
Applications:
Air quality monitoring (for indoor and outdoor environments)
Detecting toxic gases in homes, factories, and industrial setups
Smoke detection for fire alarms or safety systems
